Maria was born in Tehran. She grew up in an artistic family and became passionate about visual arts. She studied paintings and drawings at two separate art schools. She later worked as a fabric pattern designer for some years before pursuing her love for paintings.

 

She has over thirty years of experience and has worked on numerous collections using her distinctive style.

She now lives in Toronto, working in her own studio.
